This policy explains when payments made on Valoent can be cancelled or refunded. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions.
Companies and recruiters pay a one-time Valoent service fee of 5% of the professional's total agreed fee (for example, a monthly fee multiplied by the number of months, or a fixed project fee), excluding taxes and reimbursable expenses. It is charged upfront, only when you choose Begin engagement after the professional has passed your interview. Creating an account, posting requirements, receiving matches, building a team, viewing masked profiles and scheduling interviews are free.
Professionals do not pay to register, apply or be matched. Your first 4 successful projects are free. From your 5th successful project, a one-time fee of ₹999 per project is charged when a company selects you, and the engagement begins after you pay it.
Professionals' fees for their work are agreed and paid directly between the company and the professional; they are not part of the Valoent fee. Applicable taxes are additional.
You can leave the payment window at any time before paying; nothing is charged and the engagement does not begin. Once a payment succeeds, the engagement is recorded, contact details are shared and the project opens, so it cannot be cancelled automatically. If something goes wrong, see the refund cases below.
We will refund a Valoent fee (the company's 5% fee or a professional's ₹999 fee) in full in these cases:
Email [email protected] within 7 days of the payment with your registered email, the engagement or requirement concerned and the payment ID from your receipt. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. They usually reach your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
All Valoent charges are made in Indian Rupees (INR). If you pay with a card or account in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fees. Refunds are made in INR to the original payment method; the amount you receive in your currency can differ because of exchange-rate movements and bank charges, which Valoent does not control.
